Laguna Blanca encourages parent involvement in school life. One of the primary means is through the Parents’ Auxiliary, of which every Laguna Blanca parent is a member. In its effort to help new families become familiar with Laguna, the Parents’ Auxiliary facilitates the following:

 

The Parents’ Auxiliary, in conjunction with the admission office, pairs newly enrolled students and their families with current students and families as a point of contact and connection within the Laguna community. Your host family will be in touch with you in the spring to answer any questions you may have, welcome you at the New Parents Reception, and host gatherings with other students and families within your child’s grade so that the transition into Laguna Blanca is a smooth one.

 

The Parents’ Auxiliary helps organize and facilitate division-level or grade specific activities. These are coordinated with the division head and/or classroom teacher and the Parents’ Auxiliary Division Representative and/or Class Parent(s).

The Parents’ Auxiliary hosts meetings periodically throughout the year, with meeting dates and times indicated in the printed school calendar that is included in the summer mailing.

Jogathon & Family BBQ

The jogathon is a fun, all-school event that raises funds for the School’s physical education and athletic programs on both campuses. A family barbecue follows the jogathon.

Spring Benefit Auction

The Parents’ Auxiliary stages this beautiful event each year in varying locations. It is the Auxiliary’s major fundraiser.
