A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ARTS AT LAGUNA CAMPER

Every day begins with an opening where campers ages 5-12 are invited to participate in activities from hula-hooping to line dancing to individual performances on an open-mike and keyboard.

After the opening and before lunch, campers travel with their age-appropriate counselor groups to four classes, one each in the visual arts, dance, theater, and music. (Of course there is recess and snack too!)

After lunch each day—which we provide—there is a special afternoon activity. One day we have a storyteller and on another day we have an arts festival; all afternoon activities are related to the particular theme of the week.

On Friday afternoons there is a musical revue where all campers are on stage performing what they have learned over the week for their family and friends. The house is always packed!
