FULL OR PART-TIME UPPER SCHOOL BIOLOGY TEACHER

Laguna Blanca School, a K-12 independent school located in Santa Barbara, California is currently accepting applications for a full-time or part-time Upper School Biology teacher to cover a teacher taking a sabbatical leave. This will be a temporary position for the 2010-2011 school year.

Course responsibilities are negotiable but will likely include teaching some combination of AP Biology, Regular Biology (9th grade) and AP Environmental Science.

Faculty members are also expected to act as advisors, attend faculty meetings, and generally participate in the life of the school community.

The most qualified candidates will have a background of high school teaching.
