The drive, determination and passion of senior Phoebe Madsen gave Laguna Blanca that extra boost to win a CIF girls volleyball championship.

Madsen was honored by the CIF-Southern Section as the Player of the Year in Division 4AA. She did it all for the Owls: set, dig balls, block and put balls away. In the 4AA final against Alta Loma, she recorded a triple-double with 17 kills, 23 assists and 13 digs, leading Laguna Blanca to its second CIF title in school history.

ALL-CIF TEAMS
Jason Donnelly, who returned to the school this season to take the jobs of athletic director and girls volleyball coach, was named the 4AA Division Volleyball Coach of the Year.

Senior middle blocker Dani Abrams and senior outside hitter Emily Lafitte were selected to the All-CIF Division 4AA team.
