FAQs about Shopping to benefit LBS
1. I don’t want my purchases to be seen by the school (or anyone else). How is my privacy protected? The only information disclosed to Laguna Blanca School administration is the aggregate amount purchased online for the benefit of LBS monthly. The amount and nature of individual purchases will never be disclosed to the School.
2. Will Laguna Blanca School be able to analyze how much I have spent via each of the programs? No specific personal information is ever disclosed to Laguna Blanca School regarding individual purchases.
3. Can I enroll friends and family in the programs listed? We encourage everyone associated with Laguna Blanca School to invite friends and family to utilize these programs so that our School prospers each and every year.
5. What if I choose to enroll in only one of the programs listed? Great! You can participate in just one program – or all three.
6. I purchased some items on Amazon, but I forgot to use the link on the Laguna Blanca School website, can I backtrack and get the purchase to benefit the School? Sorry, but due to the confidential nature of the system, we cannot locate your purchase and have it benefit the School.
7. I purchased a toaster via the Amazon site, but now it does not work, can Laguna Blanca School help me return it? Laguna Blanca School cannot guarantee products or services being offered on any of the stores listed on Amazon. You must contact the store where the item was purchased.
8. I frequent a neighborhood grocery store that is not listed on the eScrip site. How do I enroll them in the program? You can contact eScrip yourself or send an e-mail to the Parents’ Auxiliary contact at parentsauxiliary@lagunablanca.org. We will work with your local store in encouraging them to participate in this worthwhile program.
9. I want to enroll my business in eScrip as it provides goods and services that will benefit the local community. How do I do this? You can either contact eScrip directly or e-mail the Parents’ Auxiliary regarding your interest in becoming a participating merchant.
10. Can each family member enroll separately in the programs listed so that Laguna Blanca School benefits even more? Each of the programs has their own rules regarding their individual registration requirements. Laguna Blanca School must defer to the rules and restrictions of each program regarding registration. However, the aggregate amount for all enrollees is what is counted each month, not individual purchases.
11. I know of other programs that might benefit Laguna Blanca School, who do I contact about getting us enrolled? Please send an e-mail to the parent volunteer and he/she will contact you regarding your suggestion.
12. If I have questions after checking the FAQs below, who should I contact? Please send an e-mail to the Parents' Auxiliary and you will be contacted with further details or contact information.
