While our website offers a glimpse of life and learning at Laguna, a personal visit provides you a more accurate picture of the academic vibrancy and contagious spirit that infuses our community. To schedule a tour, class visit, or attend one of our admission events, please contact us at 805.687.2461 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Children spend a portion of the morning visiting in the classroom with the students and teachers, as well as sit for their personal evaluation. Children visit in the grade in which they are currently enrolled. Visits are scheduled in January and February after the application is received.
Visiting classes plays an important role in helping a student determine whether Laguna Blanca might be a good match both academically and socially. As this is an important part of your school search process, the receipt of an application prior to scheduling is not necessary. Students arrive at the admission office prior to the start of school and are paired with hosts whom they “shadow” for the day
Experience our classrooms, teachers, and students in action! Space is limited and RSVPs are required.
Open House offers an early exploration of Laguna for students and parents. See our curriculum in action; meet our teachers, administrators, and students; and learn about opportunities and our curriculum at each grade level.
Join us on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 10:30AM for a morning of casual conversation and coffee with Head of School Rob Hereford, members of our Board of Trustees, current parents, administrators, and applicant parents considering the school.
Inspired by Swoop, the school's owl mascot, and the timeless tales of Alice in Wonderland, this wildly popular event is imagination in motion--a live mix of activities that allow children to explore critical and creative thinking in the way they should be explored--hands-on.
Carnival highlights include a mad scientist, multilingual royal croquet, art stations, a Mad Hatter's Workshop, tea parties, live white rabbits & owls, and of course Alice!
