Laguna Blanca School partners with Nu Cuisine to provide fresh, nutritious lunches for students in Grades EK-12. 

For more than 16 years, Nu Cuisine has been serving Santa Barbara schools with chef-prepared meals made from high-quality ingredients. Menus feature organic vegetables, fruits, and legumes whenever possible, along with homemade sauces and dressings, hormone- and antibiotic-free animal proteins, and variety of vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options. Meals are served in compostable, environmentally-friendly packaging, reflecting Nu Cuisine's commitment to sustainability. With a focus on nutrition, quality, and sustainability, Nu Cuisine helps support student well-being through healthy and delicious meals. 

Lunches are ordered online through Boonli, where families can view Laguna Blanca's lunch menu and manage student orders throughout the school year.

ABOUT THE OWNER
Koji Nomura of Nu Cuisine brings more than 38 years of experience in the restaurant and catering industry. Throughout his career, he has owned and operated several well-known Santa Barbara restaurants, including Piranha Sushi, Rocks Restaurant, Miso Hungry, California Noodle Kitchen, the Santa Barbara Tennis Club Café, and, most recently, OKU Restaurant. A longtime member of the Santa Barbara community and a parent himself, Koji is passionate about providing students with fresh, nutritious meals that are both healthy and delicious.
