  • Step 3 - Schedule a Campus Visit

To schedule a tour or class visit, please contact us at 805.687.2461 or email admissions@lagunablanca.org.

    Tours
Tours continue throughout the year on both campuses and offer the best way for you to begin your exploration of Laguna Blanca.

    Class Visits
Visiting classes plays an important role in helping a student determine whether Laguna Blanca might be a good match both academically and socially. As this is an important part of the school search process, the receipt of an application prior to scheduling is not necessary. Visiting students arrive at the admission office prior to the start of school and are paired with hosts whom they "shadow" for the day.
  • Step 4 - Testing

    EK-K
Applicants have a one-on-one personal evaluation and participate in a Saturday playgroup to better determine a child's readiness for Laguna's programs. The personal evaluation is scheduled in January or February after the application is received. The playgroups are held in February as listed below. Parents are invited to enjoy coffee and conversation with an administrator/teacher during the playgroups.

    Saturday, February 2, 2018 | 9AM or 10:45AM for Kindergarten applicants
    Saturday, February 23, 2018 | 9AM for Early K applicants; 10:45AM for Kindergarten applicants

    Grades 1-4
Children spend a portion of the morning visiting in the classroom with the students and teachers, as well as sit for their personal evaluation. Children visit in the grade in which they are currently enrolled (e.g. second grade applicants visit in first grade). These visits are scheduled in January and February after the application is received.
