Third Grade Students Envision the Future of Science In ExploraVision Contest

Led by Lower School Teachers Clara Svedlund and Brooke Green and with support from Erica Downing, the third grade class recently submitted their impressive science projects to the K-3 Division of the ExploraVision competition. Four teams of students were tasked to choose a current technology, research it, envision what it might look like in 20 years, and describe the development steps, pros & cons, and any obstacles that may be encountered.

This collaborative project challenged students to combine creativity with scientific methods to develop promising new technologies. Best of luck to these students as their projects are being judged! Regional winners will be announced on March 10, and National winners will be announced on April 23.
