Jayla Provance of Laguna Blanca Golf Named Athlete of the Week

Will Bouma, quarterback for the top-ranked Cate School 8-man football team, and Laguna Blanca golfer Jayla Provance '24 were named the Athletes of the Week at Monday’s Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Press Luncheon at Harry’s Plaza Cafe.
Provance, the No. 1 player for the Owls, shot a 3-under par 32 at Buenaventura Golf Course to lead her team to first place in the second Tri-Valley League tournament. Her round included an eagle on the par-5 18th hole.
Provance also shot a 32 in the first TVL tournament at Buenaventura.
Way to go, Jayla!
