Student leadership is a semester-long class designed to develop leadership skills in those students who are interested in growing their potential as changemakers for the good of their school community. In addition to other goals, the students in this class would be responsible for leading the weekly assembly on Fridays, including planning games, guest speakers, competitions between houses, and soliciting ideas from the entire Middle School community. These students would also plan the dance for 7th & 8th grade, support the Upper School with Field Day prep and Spirit Weeks, organize the Middle School Variety Show, run quarterly Student Stores, plan for the Sensational Summer Send-Off, coordinate a Middle School service project, and more. The potential for this class is limitless! Students can enroll in more than one semester of this class.
