David Bradley '99, Treasurer
A Laguna alumnus from the class of 1999, David is currently Chief Operating Officer of Hawk Ridge Capital Management, a long/short equity investment manager based in Los Angeles and New York. David oversees all aspects of running the business, allowing his investment team to focus each day on investment research, security selection, and portfolio management.
In recent years, David has gained valuable board and volunteer experience. He served as Laguna Blanca Alumni Council President 2011-2014, significantly expanding the scope of the school’s alumni program during his tenure. He also has served as member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles Board of Governors and Chair of its Career Development Committee; as a board member for the Santa Barbara Firefighters Alliance; and member/volunteer of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle.
David is a 2003 graduate of Claremont McKenna College with a B.A. degree in Economics, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst professional designations. Prior to Hawk Ridge, for eight years he served as COO for Sirius Advisors LLC, an investment firm which managed $500 million in health care equities for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and later ran a long/short equity hedge fund.
David is married to his Laguna high school sweetheart Chelsea Rangsikitpho ’00, a Scripps College graduate. They have three young children: Juliet '28, Colin '30, and Nathan '33.
