• Laguna
  • Laguna Blanca School is a non-profit 501(c)(3) and Santa Barbara’s premier independent EK-12 college preparatory day school.
  • Enrollment: Laguna currently enrolls approximately 355 students in early kindergarten through twelfth grade.
  • Class size: We believe small class sizes are essential to quality education at any level. We strive for enrollments of 10 students in Early Kindergarten and 20 students per class in kindergarten through sixth grade, with a teacher and instructional assistant in each classroom. The seventh and eighth grades have approximate enrollments of 40 students per grade, and the ninth through twelfth grades usually have over 50 students per grade. Grades seven through twelve are broken into instructional groups of about 15 students.
  • Faculty: There are 58 faculty members, 64% of whom hold advanced degrees, including six Ph.D.s.
  • Mascot: Owl (named Swoop)
  • School Colors: Blue and White
  • College Placement: 100% of Laguna graduates attend college. Our students gain entrance into some of the world's most selective institutions.
  • Complete college matriculation (2012-2017)
  • Calendar: The Lower School uses a trimester calendar and the Middle and Upper Schools use a two semester calendar.
  • Campuses: The Lower School (EK-4) is located on two charming acres in Montecito. The original 1933 campus in Hope Ranch houses the Middle (5-8) and Upper (9-12) Schools on 35 bucolic acres.
