Learn the fundamentals of character design and the hallmarks of anime style while crafting your own unique world of characters. Whatever your skill level or experience, build a strong foundation for your artistic aspirations with Laguna graduate Claire Tolles '22. She has worked with all ages, and she has experience with 2D/3D animation, digital art, and design.
Directed by Sarah Jacobs, Arts at Laguna is a power-packed summer program designed to provide campers with an engaging and affirming experience in the visual and performing arts. There are four one-week sessions and each session is organized around a different theme. Our goal is for campers to have the time of their life as they build their sense of artistic-self, as well as their self-esteem in general.

Camp Cito promises tons of fun and sun for camp-goers on Laguna's Montecito campus. Students will be placed in age-based groups and will experience a variety of offerings throughout the day, including arts and crafts; outside sports and games, including rock wall climbing; LEGO engineering; and prepping for singing stardom in music. With so much to do and explore, each day will be a fun and engaging experience!
We are getting crafty with paint, string, glitter, glue, crayons, markers, and much more! Campers will work individually and collaboratively on a number of art based projects that scratch that creator itch.
Campers will have fun moving their bodies to their favorite song, all while learning the principles of dance. They will begin to explore the elements of physical movement and focus on technique foundations. Our young dancers will learn about musicality, space, timing, energy, and finally - performance qualities!
Explore working with a variety of mediums like yarn, metal, and leather in this entry level jewelry design camp. We will create mixed media pieces and explore a variety of craft making techniques in Laguna Blanca's maker space. Join us for an adventure in wearable art.
Campers will make their own 3 dimensional paper mache creations! Project ideas include ornaments, animals, masks, and bowls. Prepare to get your hands dirty and to create! Campers who enjoy making things with their hands, and don't mind getting a little crusty in the process, will love this camp.
Campers will manipulate light and ink in a journey into cyanotypes (a light-based printing process also known as nature prints and relief prints), in which they will carve into a soft plate and then hand print their images onto paper. A great introduction to the wide world of printmaking.
Shine on stage and step into the spotlight in this exciting adventure in theater! Expand your horizons and awaken the artist within. All skill levels are welcome.
For rising Kindergarten through Grade 8 students. Two troupe performances will take place each week (Kindergarten - Grade 3; Grades 4 - 8).
Learn the fundamentals of vocals in this fun camp that mimics the popular reality song shows of today. Unlock your musical voice from within with Maura Jaye '22, a graduate from Laguna Blanca School, with an affinity for music - especially vocals and songwriting. She has worked with all ages and enjoys spreading the love of music. All levels welcome.
Have fun playing the ukulele, singing, and exploring other musical instruments with different songs from around the world and learning geography and interesting facts and costumes from other countries. Got your passport?
Get ready to create our own ZINES! A zine is a small-circulation, self-published 'magazine' created by hand and reproduced via a copy machine. We will draw, cut, collage, write and glue our zines to tell our stories anyway we want. No experience required! Who would enjoy this? Comic fans, Story Tellers, Illustrators and Creatives of any nature.
