Mason Farrell '80
A Laguna alumnus from the class of 1980, Mason is currently Senior Vice President at the Capital Group, a privately held global investment management firm based in Los Angeles and founded in 1931. The Capital organization provides mutual fund investments through American Funds and Capital International Funds. Mason works with high-net-worth individuals, families, endowments and foundations through Capital Group Private Client Services.
Mason served on the Laguna board during the 90s and helped oversee the acquisition and opening of the Lower School campus in Montecito. He remained an advisor to Laguna and has served on several committees between board assignments. He has extensive board experience having served as a trustee for the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Barbara, The Santa Barbara Foundation, the El Adobe Corporation (a charitable bank), and he chaired the board of Lotusland. He currently serves on the board of the Lobero Theatre.
