TEDxLaguna Blanca School 2021 Update

TEDx is one of our school’s project-based leadership electives which brings Laguna students together into a business-like environment to create and produce the annual TEDxLagunaBlancaSchool event. Within respective teams, students develop organizational leadership skills while managing every aspect of the event, including identifying a meaningful theme, curating speakers, creating a marketing plan and budget, and arranging professional-level audio and visual coverage to share on an international scale. For the last three years, this semester-long class has culminated with a large event that our community looks forward to and cherishes. 
 
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the TEDxLagunaBlancaSchool team is going to put their event planning on pause until the safety of our community is ensured and large group gatherings are permitted again. Although this is unfortunate news for many, the team will continue to plan for future events, refine their skills, and learn more about the TED community and how it has adapted during this pandemic. 
 
COVID-19 has created unimaginable hardships for everyone, and the TEDx team encourages you to use the TED platform to learn, grow, and hear others’ stories during this time. Please look out for upcoming social media posts and website updates for TEDx-related activities and TED talk recommendations!
