Ellen McDermott Charney, Secretary

Ellen enjoys a rich professional and personal life. As a mother of three children, she has had the opportunity to serve as Treasurer and CFO of the Medina PTA and as an active member of both the Board of Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart, Bellevue, WA and Eastside Preparatory School, Kirkland, WA.

Ellen is a computer scientist with more than 30 years of risk management and computer security experience in designing, developing, and operating security components and integrated solutions for distributed computing systems and devices. Ellen is currently an independent security consultant who helps companies understand the complex world of security and operational risk management. She holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts and Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Business Management/Marketing from Boston College. Ellen has several published papers and patents to date.
