Upper School Theatre Presents "Emma"

Laguna Blanca Theatre Proudly Presents a theatrical adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel, Emma. Adapted by Michael Bloom and directed by Dana Caldwell, this production promises to enchant audiences with its witty charm and timeless tale of love and self-discovery. With Production Design by Richard Croy, Zack Lillie-Liberto, and Flynn Brady, Emma is presented through a special arrangement with Concord Theatricals.

Emma Woodhouse takes center stage as Highbury's town matchmaker, boasting an impeccable track record, much to the chagrin of her dear friend Mr. Knightley. The plot thickens as Emma's latest matchmaking scheme, involving the sweet Harriet Smith, takes an unexpected turn. Advising Harriet to reject a perfectly good marriage proposal in favor of another eligible bachelor sets off a whirlwind of complications that lead to self-discovery, unexpected alliances, and, ultimately, Emma's own perfect match.
